Access and movement

The draft Seddon Neighbourhood Plan recognises that increasing active and public transport use would strengthen connectivity to further develop a suburb that offers safe, accessible, and people-orientated transport modes and enhanced accessibility to key places

With three train stations (West Footscray, Middle Footscray, and Seddon), Seddon is ideally located to leverage sustainable transport modes. However, the suburb lacks a cohesive and complete network of pedestrian-focussed streets.

You can explore below how the draft Plan will support better connections to key attractions within and surrounding Seddon, then share your feedback.

We are also keen to understand your thoughts on the potential introduction of a reduced 30 km/h speed limit to create a safer environment for pedestrians and those who cycle via the quick poll on the right.

Please note: Delivery of future projects will depend on cross-organisational and State Agency collaboration, as well as advocacy to State Government agencies.
