Consultation has concluded

The Village Green Playground is scheduled to be upgraded as part of Council’s 2019-20 Capital Works Program.

The playground is recommended for expansion in the Maribyrnong Playground Improvement Plan (2016-26) given it is the only playground in Waterford Green.

Council has developed a draft plan (see document library) that increases the variety of play elements with improved accessibility and adds fitness equipment to the park. There is also potential to replace the existing ping pong table with alternative equipment.

Council is seeking feedback on the draft plan to assist with the final design for the space and whether the ping pong table should be replaced with other elements.
