Update

Visioning Footscray was finalised in 2022.

Thank you to those who shared your vision with us. We heard from more than 300 residents of Footscray whose feedback has highlighted a number of things that are important to them including: green spaces and trees, bike paths/footpaths, clean streets and buildings, strategic infrastructure and the celebration of the already vibrant and diverse multicultural community.

The project

Footscray is changing with many new developments, including a new hospital and learning precinct under construction.

Recognised by Government as a Key Business Precinct, it is set to continue to grow – both in stature and population – as it attracts significant new investment.

To plan for this, we want to know how you want Footscray to look in the future – your vision for Footscray.

Your feedback will help guide the development of the Footscray Public Realm Plan, which will identify infrastructure needs, and opportunities to direct investment and advocate for a prosperous and liveable city for all.
