Code of Conduct

To ensure the Youth Hub remains a welcoming and safe space online for young people, here are some guidelines for all users to follow:

  • all comments and discussions are respectful and constructive
  • content is appropriate for people of all ages to view
  • no posting personal information about other people
  • no swearing or offensive language that is discriminatory of people’s gender, race, religion, culture, sexual preference, appearance or background
  • no links to advertising or illegal material
  • make sure you have permission before posting images
  • do not spam by reposting your comment or posting website links that are not relevant.

Moderation

The Youth Hub is moderated to create a productive and safe environment where people can engage with projects or each other safely.

If the moderators find the content violates Moderation Policies, the user’s content will be rejected and the user may be notified via email. We reserve the right to remove any content that has been posted.

We want this site to be accessible for all young people in our community.

Privacy Statement

Maribyrnong City Council (Council) is committed to its obligations in protecting your personal information pursuant to the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 and the Health Records Act 2001.
